Information about the Prophet’s Mosque

It is located on the roof of the mosque. The visitor can reach it from Bab Al-Aqiq, No. (11), and the library is available for visits from (8) in the morning until (10) at night.

Religious lessons are held after every obligatory prayer. They are presented by a group of scholars specialized in Sharia sciences, and the visitor can attend them and benefit from them.

Quran holy books and translations of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an are available throughout the Prophet’s Mosque in various languages and sizes. The books are also available for the blind in Braille.

Security offices are available to receive complaints or reports on important matters. They are located at Al-Siddiq Gate No. (2), Gate No. (7), Gate No. (33), and at Courtyard Gate No. (7A), or Courtyard Gate No. (21A), or the Office of the Security Forces Command of the Prophet’s Mosque.

A group of light folding chairs that are easy to carry are available in the Prophet's Mosque, which are used by people with excuses and the elderly during their prayers.

There are parking lots underneath the Prophet's Mosque, which can accommodate approximately (4,300) cars. These parking lots can be reached through (6) entrances linked to the main streets around the Prophet's Mosque.

In the Prophet's Mosque there is a Lost Belongings Office affiliated with the Security of the Haram, to serve visitors in finding or searching for their lost items.

The Prophet's Mosque is equipped with vehicles designated for people with special needs, to make it easier for them to move inside the mosque and its courtyards.

Zamzam water is available in the Prophet's Mosque in sterile and refrigerated containers. It is distributed inside the mosque, its courtyards and its roof.

The Prophet's Mosque is equipped with portable chairs, electric elevators, and slides next to the entrances to the gates of the Prophet's Mosque, to facilitate the movement and mobility of people with special needs. Some prayer halls have also been equipped to suit their circumstances.

There are offices in the Prophet's Mosque to care for lost children, including a main office at the Baqeei Wall opposite the courtyard door No. (34C), in addition to two other offices in the eastern and western women's prayer rooms.

The Friday sermon is translated live into seven languages, through a set of radio frequencies.
