These include Bakkah, Al-Balad Al-Ameen (the Trustworthy City), Al-Balad (the City), Al-Baldah (the Town), Al-Bait Al-Ateeq (the Ancient House), and Al-Qaryah (the Village). Visitor Guidelines
Visitors to the Grand Mosque should not leave luggage or personal belongings at the gates and courtyards. Instead, they are encouraged to store their items in the safety deposit boxes available.
Before heading to the Grand Mosque, make sure of the following:
Bring medications that you may need to take during the day.
Put your passport and important items in a safe place before leaving the hotel or camp.
Store the address and location of your accommodation on your mobile phone, write it down on paper, and always carry your hotel room card.
Use sunglasses and an umbrella for sun protection
Ensure you carry your wallet and place your identification cards inside for safekeeping.
Carry a small bag to store personal effects.
Bring a plastic bag to store shoes inside the Haram, as well as paper tissues.
Place your luggage in the lockers.
Do not bring food and beverages (except coffee, dates, and water).
