The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah leverages artificial intelligence technologies and data analytics to enhance services provided to the Guests of Allah, transforming data into insights and forecasts that support planning and decision-making, alongside delivering smart solutions and managing crowd movement and dispatching. This contributes to facilitating the journey of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and elevating their experience, under the care devoted by the Wise Leadership—may Allah support them—to serving the Guests of Allah, and in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.

The Ministry works to maximize the strategic value of data through advanced analytics, artificial intelligence technologies, and pattern discovery, as well as conducting studies related to Hajj and Umrah trends, pilgrim behaviors and preferences, and supply and demand. Furthermore, it employs predictive analytics to forecast arrival and departure dates, lengths of stay, and operational trends, thereby supporting early planning, preparation, and decision-making.

On the operational level, the Ministry employs advanced algorithms in managing pilgrim movement and dispatching, analyzing crowd dynamics, and predicting peak times, in addition to analyzing bus movements and optimizing transport routes between the Holy Sites. This contributes to enhancing mobility efficiency and supporting operational decisions during the season.

Regarding direct services provided to the pilgrim, the "Nusuk AI" service stands out as one of the key artificial intelligence solutions. It provides information and guidance related to Hajj, Umrah, and visitation, responding to inquiries with support for over 180 languages and voice interaction capabilities. Since its launch, more than two million users have benefited from it, including 393,000 during the past month alone.

The Ministry also offers the "Digital Mutawwif" service via the "Nusuk" application, serving as a smart companion for the Guest of Allah during the performance of rituals. It utilizes spatial artificial intelligence to understand the pilgrim's real-time location, movement, and journey context, guiding them to the most suitable routes and floors, automatically counting Tawaf and Sa'i laps, and displaying stage-appropriate guidance and supplications. The service registered over two million uses within a single month, with more than 1.4 million beneficiaries digitally completing their Tawaf and Sa'i journey through it.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah recently received the "AI Ethics Seal" issued by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) for the "Nusuk AI" service, reaffirming its commitment to the responsible and reliable use of smart technologies, and its continued employment of artificial intelligence to enhance services and support decision-making—contributing to a smarter and more proactive experience for the Guests of Allah.
