The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in September: Continuous Efforts in Serving the Guests of Allah

Throughout the month of September, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah continued to host numerous events, programs, and initiatives dedicated to serving the Guests of Allah. These included hosting a series of local and international meetings, alongside launching various events, initiatives, and awareness campaigns.

The media newsletter for September 2026, issued by the Ministry today, highlighted the announcement of the generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may Allah protect him—for the sixth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, scheduled to be held in Jeddah next November. The newsletter also highlighted the periodic meeting for Saudi Umrah companies, as well as the Saudi-Turkish Umrah Companies Meeting held in Jeddah.

In terms of awareness and pilgrim services, September saw the launch of the "Domestic Umrah" awareness campaign, the distribution of over 300,000 umbrellas to pilgrims in partnership with several entities, and the qualification and training of more than 8,000 external Umrah agents.

The Ministry’s operations during September also featured the launch of the fourth edition of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum in Jeddah, which convened stakeholders from across the Umrah and visitation ecosystem to review the latest solutions and experiences aimed at enhancing services provided to the Guests of Allah.

On the digital transformation front, the newsletter showcased the Ministry’s announcement of full cloud migration for the "Nusuk" digital ecosystem during the LEAP 2026 conference, advancing efforts to upgrade technological infrastructure and raise the readiness of digital services offered to the Guests of Allah.

The Ministry’s work during September reflects integrated efforts in serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors—spanning coordination, qualification, and awareness to the development of enhanced digital services and solutions. These efforts continue the dedicated care bestowed by the Wise Leadership—may Allah support them—upon the Guests of Allah, while advancing the objectives of the Pilgrim Experience Program, one of the core programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
