Objectives of Electronic Participation

1. Starting from a beneficiary-centric approach and making them a key focus in decision-making, business development, service design and improvement, and enhancing service quality.

2. Promoting the concept of transparency regarding information that matters to the public through surveys, blogs, polls, and publishing the results of all these channels.

Terms and Conditions for Community Participation

The Ministry is committed to reviewing and publishing contributions in accordance with the publishing guidelines and regulations in force in the Kingdom, which include:

  1. Adherence to Islamic values and national customs.
  2. Respecting state regulations and not violating them.
  3. Using clear and polite language, free of offensive or inappropriate expressions.
  4. Avoiding repeated submissions of the same content.
  5. Refraining from publishing personal information, contact details, or promotional content.
  6. Not exploiting platforms for purposes that harm the Ministry’s performance, security, or continuity.
  7. Strictly refraining from using obscene language or unverified or distorted religious content.
  8. The Ministry reserves the right to review or delete any contribution that violates these guidelines without any legal obligation toward the contributors.

Roles and Responsibilities Related to Electronic Participation

The specialized department within the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah contributes to organizing electronic community engagement processes, and its tasks include:

  1. Publishing organizational projects and initiatives through official platforms.
  2. Receiving and analyzing community contributions electronically.
  3. Preparing analytical reports that include key proposals and general trends.
  4. Incorporating relevant community inputs into the development of regulations and legislations.
