Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah
It is the blessed prophetic city that Allah honored and singled out with His grace, and which the Almighty called it in parts of His Holy Book "Al-Madinah", "Taiba" or "Tabah" as the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, called it. In it, Islam was known for its strength and authority. It was the first capital in the history of Islam and Muslims, and in it its message was completed. The Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said about it: (Indeed, faith leads and finds refuge in Madinah just as a snake finds shelter in its hole).

Geographic location
Madinah is located in the northwestern part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is characterized by many geographical features, such as mountains, plains, and oases. Its area is about 149,207 sq.k. Millions of visitors come to it every year from all over the world, because of its great religious status to them, as it includes the Prophet’s Mosque, the Quba Mosque, and the Qiblatain Mosque. The city is about 400 kilometers far from Makkah to the northeast, about 150 kilometers from the Red Sea, and about 220 sq.k from the port of Yanbu, located in the southwest of the country.
