Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Inspects Nawaritiya Pilgrim Reception Center and Grand Mosque Readiness

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Hajj and Umrah Committee, inspected the Pilgrim Reception and Guidance Center in Al-Nawariya. The visit aimed to review the progress of operational workflows and services provided to the Guests of Allah. He was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdelfattah Mashat, the Mayor of the Holy Capital, Mosaad Al-Dawood, and several officials from regional government and security sectors. 

During his inspection tour, Prince Saud bin Mishal reviewed the operations at the center’s Advance Preparation Room, which features interactive screens and operational systems used to monitor field processes. He was briefed on its core responsibilities, including verifying pilgrim accommodations with service providers prior to their arrival, tracking the arrival statistics of buses entering the center, and utilizing the bus tracking system to ensure a seamless traffic flow and rapid processing. 

His Royal Highness also inspected the workflow at the reception hall for land-route pilgrims and reviewed the operational mechanism for exchanging foreign and Saudi buses at the center. He examined the organizational and operational services implemented to facilitate the reception of pilgrims and seamlessly guide them to their accommodations in an orderly manner. 

Additionally, the Deputy Governor of Makkah Region visited the Grand Mosque to assess the readiness of the Mataf (circumambulation area) project, alongside the operational framework and services prepared for worshippers for the Hajj season of 1447 AH. This visit is part of ongoing efforts to elevate operational efficiency and enhance the experience of the Guests of Allah. Accompanied by several officials, the prince listened to a detailed briefing on the operational and service plans executed by relevant entities at the Grand Mosque, which include crowd management mechanisms, service enhancements, and facility preparations designed to guarantee a smooth flow of movement and pilgrim comfort. 

Furthermore, Prince Saud bin Mishal inspected the Third Saudi Expansion project, reviewing the progress of the phased handover for operations conducted by the Project Management Office at the Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. 

These dedicated efforts are part of an integrated operational ecosystem aimed at enhancing the quality of services provided to worshippers, Umrah performers, and visitors, creating a more accessible, serene, and seamless devotional environment within the Grand Mosque and its facilities.
