The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, inspected King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah today to review the services provided by the Ministry to the Guests of Allah. During the tour, he was briefed on the organizational and operational procedures implemented by relevant entities to facilitate the smooth reception of pilgrims and their seamless transfer to their accommodations. He praised the dedicated efforts of all airport personnel, which contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
Upon his arrival, the Minister was received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jeddah Airports, Eng. Raed Al-Mudaiheem, and the CEO of the company, Eng. Mazen Johar. The tour included the Hajj Terminal Complex, the Command and Control Center, as well as Terminal 1 and Terminal 4.
The Minister reviewed the reception and crowd-flow procedures for the Guests of Allah, emphasizing the speed of processing, backed by advance preparation efforts. Key among these preparations is the distribution of "Nusuk" cards in the pilgrims' home countries prior to their arrival, along with the "Bag-Free Pilgrim" initiative, which simplifies arrival procedures, minimizes baggage handling time, and enhances overall performance and service quality.
In the same context, he was briefed on several field initiatives implemented by the Ministry at the airport, most notably the "Nusuk Marhaba" initiative, which focuses on welcoming the Guests of Allah and facilitating their entry procedures through specialized reception and guidance teams.
The Minister also welcomed several arriving pilgrims to the Kingdom with the slogan "Welcome, Guests of Allah," wishing them a smooth and reassuring Hajj, under the care and attention dedicated by the wise leadership—may Allah support them—to serving pilgrims and facilitating their rituals.
