Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Launches Awareness Guide for Domestic Pilgrims for Hajj Season 1447 AH

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched the Awareness Guide for Domestic Pilgrims for the Hajj season of 1447 AH. This initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the readiness of the Guests of Allah and elevate awareness regarding regulatory procedures and guidelines that contribute to a smooth and reassuring pilgrimage. The guide was developed in partnership with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, and the Ministry of Media through the Unified Media Operations Center for Hajj. Additional partners include the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, the General Authority for Awqaf, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, alongside the Coordinating Council for Domestic Pilgrim Service Providers.

The guide delivers comprehensive instructional content that accompanies pilgrims throughout the various stages of their journey. This begins with early preparations prior to departure, covering personal provisions, trip requirements, and designated assembly points, all the way to instructions regarding transportation to the Holy Sites and compliance with approved organizational schedules.

Furthermore, the guide includes detailed instructions on the "Nusuk" card, which authorizes pilgrims to enter the Holy Sites and the Grand Mosque, and outlines how to utilize its digital version. It also contains contact information for service providers, alongside support and emergency numbers, including the Care Center for the Guests of Allah, health services, and emergency responses.

The guide also reviews the organizational routes for performing the rituals using illustrative maps of the Holy Sites, timelines for Hajj operations, and transportation and crowd management (Tafweej) instructions. It provides a simplified explanation of the rituals throughout the days of Hajj, helping pilgrims perform their duties in accordance with approved regulations while fostering awareness of measures that preserve their safety and the safety of others.

A dedicated section of the guide focuses on positive behaviors that reflect the core values and etiquette of Hajj. This includes instructions on managing crowds, preventing heat exhaustion, maintaining general cleanliness, and cooperating with organizers, which ultimately enriches the quality of the overall experience and contributes to operational fluidity during the season.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has also provided more than 22 specialized awareness guides for international pilgrims, translated into 16 languages. This is part of its educational outreach aimed at delivering essential information and guidelines to the Guests of Allah in their respective languages, thereby enhancing their readiness and supporting a seamless and peaceful Hajj experience.
