Minister of Hajj and Umrah concludes his visit to Kazakhstan

His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, concluded his official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, which lasted three days and witnessed a series of meetings and discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries in serving the Guests of Allah. During the visit, His Excellency affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen ties of cooperation with Kazakhstan in a manner that contributes to facilitating the arrival of its citizens to the Two Holy Mosques and enabling them to perform the rituals with ease and reassurance. The visit included meetings with His Eminence the Mufti of the Republic, Nurizbay Haj Taganuly, and the Vice Minister of Culture and Information, Kanat Iskakov, in addition to holding a “Nusuk Council” with representatives of travel and tourism companies, and reviewing the key digital services of the “Nusuk” platform, which provides more than 100 integrated services for pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors. His Excellency also visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, reviewed its academic programs, and met with the Vice President of the University, faculty members, and students. The meetings discussed ways of cooperation between the two countries in developing services provided to Umrah performers, pilgrims, and visitors from Kazakhstan, reviewed the Kingdom’s efforts in developing infrastructure in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Madinah Al-Munawwarah, highlighted the digital features offered by the “Nusuk” platform, and the most important efforts aimed at enriching the experience of citizens of Kazakhstan and the Guests of Allah from all over the world in visiting the Two Holy Mosques, including the development of more than 55 historical sites in Makkah and Madinah. This visit comes as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to enhance international cooperation to facilitate the access of Muslims from various countries of the world to the Two Holy Mosques and to provide an exceptional spiritual experience that reflects the Kingdom’s care in serving the Guests of Allah. // End //
