Minister of Hajj and Umrah activates the full features of the “Nusuk” application without consuming internet data, in cooperation with Saudi telecom companies STC, Mobily, and Zain, in a move aimed at facilitating the journey of the Guests of Allah and enhancing the digital experience of Hajj and Umrah services. The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Ghassan Al-Nuaimi, confirmed that this step enables users of SIM cards within the Kingdom, including citizens, residents, and visitors, to operate the “Nusuk” application and benefit from all its services without the need for a data package or an active internet connection, including issuing permits, bookings, and other digital services provided by the application, representing a qualitative shift in enabling pilgrims and visitors to perform their rituals and move between services smoothly and easily. He pointed out that this activation will positively reflect on the visitor’s experience, as users can benefit from essential services such as issuing permits for the Holy Rawdah, booking the Haramain train, navigating through Nusuk maps, using the “Nusuk AI” feature, and submitting reports and inquiries, all without consuming data balance. For his part, the CEO of the Nusuk platform, Eng. Ahmed Al-Maiman, explained that this cooperation represents an important addition to improving the digital experience for the Guests of Allah, facilitates their journey whether performing Hajj, Umrah, or visiting the Holy Rawdah, enhances crowd management efficiency, enables visitors to instantly access the information and services they need, and helps reduce the number of lost individuals while speeding up the reading and verification of permits upon entry to the Holy Rawdah. It is noteworthy that this initiative comes within the commitment of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to enhance digital transformation in Hajj and Umrah services, and to provide an integrated technical infrastructure that considers the diversity of users’ needs and conditions, ensuring their access to services easily and without technical or material obstacles.
