Position
Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Chairman of the Guests of God Program Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kadana Development Company, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. He currently serves as Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Chairman of the Guests of God Program Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kadana Development Company, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. Prior to that, he was Minister of Health and Minister of Commerce and Industry. He is the longest-serving minister in the Saudi Cabinet to head a ministry, and the first Saudi minister to lead three different ministries. He is distinguished by his keenness to develop and facilitate procedures and the use of technology and creativity in work, thus bringing about a qualitative shift in every ministry he worked in, and his name is associated with creativity, excellence, and technological development.
