He is the longest-serving minister in the Saudi Cabinet heading a ministry and the first Saudi minister to lead three different ministries. His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdulfattah Bin Sulaiman Mashat, is one of the leading talents who combines developmental experience with governmental administrative vision. He leads the strategic files for developing public policies for the Hajj and Umrah system, enhancing integration between partner entities to raise operational efficiency and performance governance in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. currently serves as the Assistant Minister of Hajj and Umrah. Previously, he held the position of Deputy Minister for International Cooperation from October 2021 to December 2025.
