The Grand Mosque features several entrances, each marked with a unique number of illuminated panels that guide worshippers from a distance, providing a sense of reassurance and guidance. Among these, the five main gates are the most prominent:

King Abdulaziz Gate, No. (1) in the Western Square.
Bab Al-Safa, No. (11) on the southern side, next to Bab Ajyad and Bab Ismail.
Bab al-Fat-h, No. (45) in the northern courtyard.
Umrah Gate, No. (62) in the northern courtyard.
King Fahd Gate, No. (79) in the Western Square.
Al-Salam Basement, an essential entrance gate located in the Masaa area.
