It is permissible for a person who cannot walk, or who feels tired, ill, or exhausted, to make Tawaf in a wheelchair. However, he must remain awake and conscious because he is engaged in worship, and should spend his time making supplications and invoking Allah. Various types of Tawaf wheelchairs are available in the Grand Mosque:

Pilgrim's wheelchair
A person is allowed to bring his wheelchair, provided that he enters through the designated wheelchair entrance.
Free wheelchairs
Free wheelchairs are available for the Hajj and Umrah performers to use if they have an assistant.
Eastern piazza (Public Transport entrance).
The southern piazza (next to the Endowment of King Abdulaziz, may Allah have mercy on him).
The western piazza (entrance to the shabika).
Wheelchair assistance service
These are wheelchairs pushed for Hajj or Umrah performers by one of the young men who are trained to do so.
Electric vehicles:
These are safe electric vehicles that are easy to drive and control during Tawaf and Saa'i. There are two types of them: Single for one person, double for two people. The service is available on the mezzanine floor..
