Umrah

Umrah means visit or destination. According to Sharia, Umrah entails visiting the Sacred House, Tawaf, and Saa'i with known conditions. The Prophet (peace be upon him) completed Umrah four times throughout his lifetime. Umrah can be performed by any time of year. It is obligatory once in a lifetime, according to the Almighty’s saying: “And Complete Hajj and ‘Umrah for Allah”

About Umrah

It is the greatest and most honorable spot on Earth, the first House established for mankind, the destination of hearts, and the Qibla of Muslims. Allah Almighty distinguished it with security through the supplication of our Master Ibrahim (peace be upon him). From its vicinity, the first message of Islam was launched, and a single prayer within it is equivalent to 100,000 prayers elsewhere. Therefore, while visiting the Grand Mosque for Umrah or prayer, a Muslim must remember that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), his companions, and the followers (Tabi'un) preceded him there. This necessitates that an individual embodies complete humility before Allah, serenity, tranquility, and dignity in this sacred place.
